Bracket fungi are highly diverse, contain medicinal properties and play key functional roles in tropical ecosystems. They are taxonomically, morphologically, and ecologically diverse, most beautiful and interesting. Tropical forests are thought to be the most evolved ecosystems characterized by high fungal biodiversity, but a major portion of these biological resources are yet to be documented. Join us for a forays, hands-on workshop, and interactive dialogue exploring the world of Bracket fungi (polypores).
The workshop will include:
- Field excursions to collect Bracket fungi
